Southland Power Boat Club

roaring boats across the bottom of the oreti river

A small look into the operations of the Southland Power Boat Club, which has been around since the 1940s.

I was brought around to shoot the principle cinematography of this promotional piece, which involved filming the boats in slow motion, people coming together to watch the boats, a re-enactment of safety demonstrations and numourous other interactions between people and boats. Lana shot her own interview and timelapse.
